In the holidays I went to a family reunion, my mum and I stayed there from Monday to Sunday at a marae, it was so big and huge!
We woke up at 6:00am in the morning and I felt miserable!. We celebrated the most important family members that past on that we will always remember and we sang their favourite songs and danced.
We did a competition that whoever does the best play wins then Boom! We did a dance and the winner is for the best group was ….. Group 1! I was bursting with excitement my cousins and my mum were in my group. We won a trophy just like the rugby games.
After we did our game we to the beach I felt so happy we had a BBQ and some ice cream and we swam through the sea to find some fish and then it was goodbye to the family. I felt sad to leave my family but I will always visit them other times in the holidays.
